Ok, 1 more question. Im looking at the JM-14 build guide and just making sure there is no welding required; everything just gets put together via screws or interference fits?

The jm 50 will need a spot welder for the combustion basket and soldering torch for the fuel manifold system. Other than that there isn't really any machinery required. We no longer offer pre built...
Turns out Jerry had a jm30.
Hello, is there any way the JM50 could be pre-built before shipping? I'm asking as I do not have the machinery to finish the kit nor the budget to buy the Swiwin turbines. Any answer would be great...
Last thing, do the 3 wave washers that are in the front of the shaft housing , held in with a paper town, do they all three go in the front or not at all.
Thanks Carlos, one moor thing, I do not see an rpm magnet for the Hall effect sensor. Was it already installed in the front end nut ?
Hello Jerry, The spring washers are not used in the jm14. That is a kp35 part. And they are not relevant to the jm14.
I have the build guide but there are lots of parts that don't show where they go. Like 3 little spring washers etc help
what turbo does the kp35 use. I assume its a vz21 but not sure.
Specifically, if I was going to buy the SW60B Ready to Run, I assume it would come with all required accessories? i.e. the speed controller, autostart. I know it says ready to run, so would that me...
@Mini Jets Here's a drawing of the dimensioned diffusor that I used to make the holes
So I am just going to go ahead and start asking questions and see where it goes because however real and even becoming a thriving field of innovation in both military and private sectors it's still...
We only provide the kp35 cad files. Which are in rough draft form. Meaning the cad files need to be refined to mate all the parts together. We are after all an educational jet engine kit provider, ...
Butane or propane will both work for starting. And the fuel is diverted into the bearings via a small brass tube. The source of the fuel/lubrication is from the main fuel tank. No separate system o...
Your best bet is to not use motorcycle oil. Pure Kerosene or diesel without dye will both work. The oil helps prevent oxidation once the bearings cool from high heat. You can run the engine...
Hello I am working on improving the efficiency of my mini jet engine; but I’ve noticed inconsistencies in fuel atomization, leading to uneven combustion and occasional flameouts. 🙃I&rs...
I dont have an idea about this
I'm really not sure, but maybe something like this is what they intended?
@Kevin Beck Biodiesel is very similar to diesel fuel which is also very similar to Jet-A fuel so it should work. We basically flew a Boeing 747 on a very good grade of biodiesel for th...
bit confused (nothing new) On the JM30, I have the kit but have put togther yet so need some clarification 1. on the lubrication connection is the source from the main fuel tank that also provide...
